The body, mind and spirit are all interconnected. Since ancient times, cultures around the world have recognized that maintaining balance and harmony of all three is essential for living the best version of ourselves.
Because of this interdependence, we have the power to affect positively impact the mind by cultivation and care of the body, and likewise for the spirit. In this section on the body, I will explore a variety of philosophies and practices that focus on harmonizing our physical bodies, and provides a direct conduit for tapping into the best version of ourselves.
The foundation for creating a healthy body is composed of a few basic elements: mobility, diet and creative expression. Each of these elements will be discussed in detail throughout this section, with practical examples being used to illustrate concepts and ideology.
